A new kind of inclusive holiday destination

Every person
deserves to
be free.

Wildfields is a small, thoughtfully designed holiday destination where people with additional needs, their families and those who support them can experience nature with greater freedom, privacy and peace of mind.

A place to stay

A holiday
destination
designed around
real people.

Wildfields is somewhere people will book, stay, enjoy and hopefully return to.

The idea is simple: create a beautiful outdoor holiday destination where greater privacy, security, accessibility and space are built into the experience from the very beginning.

Not a clinical environment. Not somewhere people are sent. Not a conventional campsite with a few additional features added afterwards.

A real holiday destination — designed differently.

Why Wildfields

A break shouldn't
require an
escape plan.

For many people with additional needs — and the families, carers or supporters travelling with them — going away can involve constant planning, watching, worrying and explaining.

Things that most people rarely need to consider can determine whether a holiday feels possible at all.

Is it secure?
Could they wander?
Will they sleep?
Is there enough space?
Will people understand?
Can everyone actually relax?
The Wildfields Experience

Your own
little wild.

01

Secure

Carefully designed boundaries, gates and fencing intended to give people greater freedom within a safer outdoor space.

02

Private

Individual spaces where guests and those supporting them can enjoy their holiday without feeling watched, judged or under pressure.

03

Spacious

Room to move, regulate, play, explore, relax and experience nature in whatever way feels right.

04

Accessible

Physical, sensory, communication and developmental needs considered from the very beginning.

05

Free

A holiday where people can be themselves without feeling they constantly need to apologise, explain or fit in.

Not simply
needs-friendly.
Designed
differently.

Inclusion by design

Wildfields isn't about adding a few sensory items to a conventional campsite and calling it inclusive.

Locks matter.
Boundaries matter.
Privacy matters.
Accessibility matters.
Understanding matters.

The environment should be designed around the people who will stay there — rather than expecting guests to adapt to a holiday environment that wasn't created with them in mind.

Be Wild.

Get muddy. Build things. Search for wildlife. Walk through woodland. Sit beneath the stars. Experience nature in whatever way works for you.

Be You.

Communicate differently. Move differently. Make noise. Need quiet. Take time out. Do things differently. There is no single right way to experience the world.

Be Free.

Freedom doesn't mean removing safety. It means creating the right environment and the right boundaries so greater independence becomes possible.

Why Wildfields began

This didn't start
in a boardroom.
It started with
my daughter.

Wildfields grew from personal experience.

Watching someone you love experience nature with complete wonder makes you realise how powerful the outdoors can be — the space, the freedom and the chance to experience the world differently.

But as additional needs become more complex, traditional camping and holidays can become harder rather than easier.

Instead of switching off, the person supporting someone can spend the entire break thinking about what might happen next.

I want to create
the place I wish
had existed for
my family.

Small by design

Not a holiday
park with a
quiet corner.

Wildfields is intended to be different from a large conventional campsite. Each location could contain just a handful of thoughtfully designed private pitches.

Fewer pitches can mean more space, greater privacy, less stimulation and an environment that feels calmer and easier to understand.

A different kind of stay

A place to
stay.
A place to
be yourself.

Wildfields is a new kind of inclusive holiday destination, created for people who need a little more from the place they stay.

Guests will be able to book their own private, thoughtfully designed outdoor space and enjoy a real break surrounded by nature — with greater privacy, security, space and freedom built into the experience.

We're starting small, with the ambition to create a beautiful destination people will want to return to again and again.

Be there from the beginning

Help turn
the idea
into a
real place.

We're working towards opening the very first Wildfields — a small, beautifully designed holiday destination where greater freedom, privacy and inclusion come as standard.

Our Crowdfunder gives people the opportunity to get behind Wildfields at the very beginning and help take the idea from plans on paper to a real place people can visit, stay and enjoy.

You can read the full story, follow the campaign and become one of the people helping us take the next step.

Follow the journey

Be part of
Wildfields
from the start.

Wildfields is still at the beginning, and we'd love the people who understand why a place like this matters to be part of what happens next.

We'll be sharing the journey as Wildfields develops — from finding our first location and designing the site to Crowdfunder milestones, development updates and eventually welcoming our first guests.

If you'd like to follow the journey, ask a question or simply tell us why Wildfields matters to you, we'd love to hear from you.
